Luminary by Designer Skin took me to a new tanning level I never imagined! This lotion is set to replace Black in 2010. For whatever reason, my salon has had it on the shelves. I have been tanning for 3 years and have tried dozens of lotions from different lines, including my favorite Designer Skin. Luminary is unlike any other. With 25 Bronzers, you reach your tanning peak! The smell and after-smell are both great, somewhat citrusy. It leaves your skin baby soft and does not come off on clothes. As if not enough, it comes in this beautiful bottle that has flashing stars on it! However, like all other Designer Skin products, it is pricey! I purchased it from my local salon and you should too! Buying off line creates many troubles, from personal experience. The lotion could be -old, damaged, obsolete, contaminated, counterfeit, or stolen! Pay the extra money… after all your skin is worth it!

I just received this lotion today, and instantly fell in love. When i first applied it to my skin, it felt so soft and amazingly silky, even better than Black 20x. This is hands down, the best “smelling” tanning lotion i have ever purchased! and not to mention, the packaging along with the ligh-up stars, was super cutee! As for the scent, i would definately describe it as citrusy and fresh, which is a very nice scent for going in the tanning booth. I’m not a fan of the after smell of tanning, so having the fragrance from this product definately helps!
The only problem i had was that my shipping was delivered a day after the estimated delivery date, but i have a feeling it was partly the post office’s fault, due to being inconsiderately SLOW.
I would definately buy this product again!!

I got this ONLINE from my wish list here on Amazon. Im all for buying lotions in the salon but my salon dosent have this in yet and I wanted it. Well I have most of the designer skin 2010 line and I LOVE this one. I feel like SILK Its way more moisturizing then black. I love it and you do see pretty much instant color. I Love this lotion and I notice like a tiny little super light shimmer on my skin from this. Its really a great product. I def love this lotion its worth the amazon price for sure and the packaging is so cute that little luminary sign lights up! Aw lol but its annoying getting the lotion out of the bottle with it. However just be really careful when ordering ur lotion online to make sure it dosent freeze cause then the lotion is no longer any good so make sure ur expecting the mail and get it in right away. My mail ppl are great so they just throw it on the ground on the ice so I went upstairs and checked for it my other face lotion from alaffia was frozen but THANK GOD this lotion wasn’t I opened it RIGHT away to check. SO yea its totally worth the price it smells good before and after tanning and it feels amazing. Most importantly it WORKS!

I decided to purchase a packet of this at my tanning salon before purchasing an entire bottle, and I loved it!! I already own a few other Designer Skin lotions, including Black, so I had prior experience with the silicone emulsion formula. I was hoping Luminary would be even more moisturizing than Black, and I was not disappointed! Like Black, Luminary smells nice on your skin both before and after tanning, which I love because I frequently tan before work. Personally, I think it’s silly to buy your lotions at the tanning salon, where you can spend up to three times as much money. I absolutely recommend this lotion to anyone who has hit a plateau, or even a beginning tanner, as it’s safe for all skin types, and tingle free. Happy tanning!

I LOVE this stuff. I as well have used many designer skin lotions including black. This stuff is amazing. I saw a huge difference from my bronze bohemian in only five days. It is very much worth the money if you want a good tan!
