Buy Airbrush Tanning

I go 3-4 times a month for a machine mist or airbrush tan at my local salon. I didn't buy this as a replacement for that. I bought it for traveling when I am away from home for more than a couple of days or for when I'm busy and don't have time to visit the salon. This product will be a perfect compliment for that.

I first used this product a few days after I got a spray tan at my local salon. I noticed absolutely NO change in my skin tone whatsoever, so I thought the tanning solution was a total rip. I decided to give it another try, so I waited for another 4 days, until the day before I was to go and get another tan, as my current skin tone was almost back to my norm (light complected).

I then sprayed the solution again only onto 1 side of my chest, upper thigh, and left buttocks. After spraying, I noticed very little if any change. Again, I thought the solution was useless. However, the next morning, I got up and looked in the mirror, and I was tan in the areas that I had sprayed, and still light everywhere else.

I was expecting an "instant" tan color, like at my salon, but what I found out, is that this solution takes time to work. It does NOT contain any instant bronzer, like the solutions do at my regular salon, so the color change is not instant. With only DHA as the colorant, it has to absorb into your skin over the next 4 hours to see any really visible changes.

I've decided to buy some other tanning solutions from the web and use with my iBod airbrush gun.

After doing some research online, I found a nice selection of product, with varying sizes, and some of the cheapest prices at www.tanforless.com.

I think I should have even better results with some of these other products. If the included tanning solution had been better, I would've definitely given this product 5 stars.

I bought this product hoping it would work, but honestly feeling it probably wouldn't. I was so pleased to try it & find out that not only does it work, but the results are very natural looking! I have spent almost every year since I was a teenager in the sun because I LOVE being tan. I feel like my skin is beginning to show that. I decided this year I would start protecting my skin...but hated the thought of being pale all summer. Lucky me I found a solution!!! My only complaint is that the product doesn't include very good directions. I found a website that has a "how to" video which I found very helpful! Anyway...good product!!!

I am very happy with this system. Unlike other system I have purchased & returned this one has no over spray. I am a mother w/ 2 children & one one the way I only have time for myself when they are sleeping. This system is convient, simple to use & easy to clean. As for the tanning solution itself there are better ones out there. Even after 24 hours I find that almost all of it washes off. Which has me using the system every 4 days just to keep a light tan.

I use selftan all the time and this time I was attracted by the wand. It`s really useful, I can finally apply selftan to my back without help or doing gymnastics. Here`s what I like:

- the wand is awesome and easy to use,

- the spray is great; very light and clear,

- tan came out even and really natural (for more dramatic results I can reapply the next day), last long and fades gradually,

- the fragrance is not overpowering, although next day in the morning I recognized this specific selftan smell (not strong, it`s shower time anyway).

One can last about 4 full body applications.

When I compare the whole experience to mystic tan SheerTan wins-it doesn`t smell, leaves clothes clean, not expensive, I don`t have to drive to tan salon.

For airplane travelling, when I take carry on only I love Tan Towel Toweletts, another winner! For beautiful glow and instant results I love Lancome self bronzer Medium Colour Oil-Free Tinted Self-Tanning Lotion for Face (all Lancomes selftan products are great). For one application dark color, no strikes and smooth skin I adore L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Gel Medium-Deep. Those my top products after few years of trying and searching.

Overall I like SheerTan a lot, but I`m gonna also use other products, depends what results I need, how much time I have etc.

Every summer since I can remember, I've been self-conscious about my white legs - there was even taunting when I was in grade school, so my quest for the perfect self-tanning product to cover my porcelain pins began young. Over the years, I've used every type of sunless tanning product starting with that orangy Avon lotion in the early 1980s; I've utilized tanning booths and gave up after thirteen sessions and only a burn to show for it; and I've booth spray tanned and airbrush spray tanned with "professionals", but how often do you want to shell out - for four days of being tan? It gets really spendy, really fast.

And then I stumbled on SheerTan. I think the Gods of Sunless Tanning were smiling on me that day. SheerTan satisfied every qualification that I was looking for in a sunless tanner: it's easy to apply, it lasts for three days before you need to shave your legs/exfoliate and reapply, and it gives me realistic colour. You also get MANY applications with SheerTan. Only using the product on my full legs, I get 15 applications out of one can. That's less than per application! To me, it would be a bargain at twice the price.

If I can pass along a tip, one thing I learned early on is that using a thick, emollient body lotion to apply the product only helps you "rub it off" instead of "rubbing it in". I'm a fan of Bath & BodyWorks' Coconut Lime Verbena Body Lotion (not Body Cream)- it smells like a Hawaiian vacation. Yummo!

To wrap up this review, if you're looking for a natural tan that's affordable, easy to apply, gives consistent colour and will fool your friends, just buy SheerTan. You won't be disappointed. I know I'm glad my quest for the perfect self tanning product is over.

I have to say this tanning solution is really great! It looks very natural and not orange and it does'nt streak. My fiance has an airbrush gun and applied it on me. When you first put it on it my look a little bloche in certain spots and look really dark, but wait about 8 hours and when you take a shower it looks like a real natural tan. My tan came out even all over. The smell is pleasant and you only should use about 3 oz per application.

Ocean spray tan solution 12.5% is the best! I do fitness competitions and this is a very natural looking and bronze-y tanner. Not orange at all. I like that it has enough bronzer to ensure even coat.for shows I do a base 2-3 days before then a coat the night before or morning of. Nice be sure to prep skin properly.

This system works great - but you must follow the directions in order to get the best results. I used it for New Year's Eve, and I looked tanned and healthy. If you spray on too much tanner, you can wipe or sponge it to even it out. It looks natural and lasts longer than most self-tanners - and I have used most of the self-tanners out there.

The results I had were great. However, make sure you are not wearing under-arm deoderant when you apply this. I only say that because the temporary results are disconceting. The where the deoderant is applied, the spray takes on a green hue. once it dries, it is fine, but it was a bit disturbing at first. Also, a couple of hours before you apply the salon bronze be sure to moisturize your skin - especially around the ankles, heels, elbows, and hands.

The product is great, loved it. I have been going to spray tan salons for years. Love the fact that I can do it myself, on my time. I bought the airbrush and the solution. Great. The solution is awesome. The medium leaves a slight red look, like you tanned, but got a little too much sun. Looks so much more natural than the rub on stuff! We love the tent, but can't fold it back up. We even bent it a little so that when it is upright its a little warped. What the hell???
