This is probably the best sunless tanning product out there, it creates a noticeable yet even and incredibly natural golden glow, like you just spent the day out in the sun. I was skeptical about buying this since it was the original packaging for Tan Towel. I thought the product might be old and not work. I emailed Pricebully and they reassured me they have had no complaints. So I took the chance b/c who can beat that price?!! You can not buy the "new" tantowels for anywhere near that price (I bought the 50 pack box). Well, they are great. It's good to have the old formula of Tan towel-color is great and very low odor. I have been using TanTowel for more than 12 years and I absolutely LOVE it! It is very easy to use, just open a packet and apply the pre-moistened wipe to your body! There is a slight odor, but it is NOT repulsive. A minute or so after application, you're dry and are ready to apply perfume. You're left with a natural looking tan without the damaging effects of the sun!

Since the towelettes are individually packaged, a box will last a long time. I only use this product during the spring and summer months and so they sit in the cabinet during the fall and winter months. I have never had any dry out. I found a few packets in a suitcase and they must have been there for over a year. I was expecting the towelette to be dry, but to my surprise, it was as moist as ever.

I've tried so many self-tanners, I could write a book on how bad most of them are.

However, it wasn't the case with this self-tanner. The towlettes are easy to use (I use the Classic ones, for I have very fair skin) and they don't give you that nasty orange or dirt-looking skin. Only natural, healthy color of tan. The typical for all self-tan products odor is there all right, but it isn't that awful and is eliminated after first shower.

The only thing that bothered me was that at first the towlette is very moist with the tanner and almost dry at the end, so you might end up having darker legs and lighter arms, but that can be easily managed with practice. I start with my legs, avoiding knees, feet and ankles. Then my arms, missing elbows... and so on. By the time the tissue is almost dry, I get back to the places I missed, those that need less of the product, blending with the rest of my body carefully. That's it. Even, great-looking tan.

I used this on my whole body (head to toe) before a cruise. I got a nice brown color. I only had some very, very slight orange streaks when I continued to use it after I had turned a nice tan. Once you hit that point, you should use it every 3 or 4 days to maintain the brown and you won't get the orange.

The green-tea is a little odd, but you get used to it and it is not noticeable to others. It is a much better smell than many other self-tanning creams have!

Silicone isn't long lasting, you have to apply it 3 or 4 times a day and there is no point tanning if you have dry looking skin.

It does smell nice but like my other silicone lotion Tangelic the lotion clumps on my skin if I touch it after I apply the first time.

I wish I could use Designer Skin's Angel but it has avocado which I'm allergic too .

I really like this product. I've used it in the past and i was always happy with it. I stopped using it when i found it to be too expensive. I have quite pale skin and freckles so ive always had bad luck with with self tanners like this and they usually look too orange-so i've always stuck with the tanning moisturisers (which work brill too "dove"). I used this the first time without gloves and although the package says its ok -it's not! lol. I did have to scrub really hard a few times to take the colour off the palms of my hands.

I took a shower and exfoliated my skin top to toe. I then dried off (completely)and waited a few mins. I then moisturised my ankles,knees and elbows (i didnt do my face but if you do make sure you moisturise the hairline and put vasaline over your eyebrows so it doesnt stain them).

Then i put on some walmart bought latex gloves (you can prob buy them anywhere quite cheap and they're disposable)and pumped a few squirts of the product on my palms. It's always best to start from the feet upwards section by section ...ex: calves, thighs,buttocks,stomach...etc.

The great thing about this one is that it doesnt go on clear...it has a tint to it already so you can see where you've missed or where there is more or less andyou can add , ALSO you have a tan showing straight away even though the actual look develops over a 4hr period.

It dries within a minute so try not to get dressed straight away. It also says try not to sweat or get wet for about 4 hrs so its probably best to put it on before bed- a tip i use is i put a bit of talcum powder in creases that could just get naturally worn (inside of elbows and behind knees)but wait for the product to fully dry first. After 24hrs take a shower and you will have a great natural looking tan.

It does last thats the great thing but the smell is just stillthe smell of fake tan...so i smell like a cookie after ive applied it..but you can daily apply your usual moisturiser so the smell does go.

I've Never tried St Moriz but will be since I love getting airbrushed. It's expensive so I'm looking at trying other things. The other day I tried St Tropez Bronzing Spray and the application was great, easy and not messy. No rubbing required, it went on evenly. It comes in an arosal can. However after my shower the color of my skin was yellowish orange. I have fair skin with a yellow undertones so for those who have the same undertone I don't suggest you try it. I was disappointed. On the other hand the best way to apple St Moriz mousse or any other self tanners that come in a lotion or mousse form is to exfoliate your skin, apply moisturizer on your knees, elbows, wrists, armpits, around ankles and feet as well as hands. Using latex gloves apply the mousse to your skin. Once fully covered keep latex gloves on and using St Tropez mitt rub gently your skin to even out the lotion. This will prevent streeks. The mitt is good to apply the mousse to your back. Apply the lotion to the back side of the mitt and rub onto your back and using the front of your mitt rub it down. The mousse goes through the mitt so I strongly advise you keep latex gloves on and do your hands last.

I recently purchased St. Tropez bronzing lotion and I really did like it, however, I was having slight problems with streaks on my legs. I searched the web for tips on how to prevent this, and I came across St. Moriz. People said it was a rival comparison to St. Tropez, and at a bottle, I had to try it. (I paid for St. Tropez) St. Moriz is, in my opinion, better than St. Tropez. The color is gorgeous, and the mousse goes on so light and smooth. The color after one application is not quite as dark as that with the St. Tropez lotion, but you can simply apply a second application for a deeper, richer tan. (I'm fair skinned, so this is perfect for me!) One application lasted almost 7 days, and I could re-apply once every 5 or 6 days for a gorgeous tan year round. Also, I had no streaking with St. Moriz, and the tan fades naturally, big plus!!! Well worth the money, you won't be disappointed!

What I have read about this mousse is true - it does give a natural brownish tan, with no hint of orange. Application was easy due to the tinted mousse, as you could see any spots that you might have missed. Color developed within three hours, and the yucky DHA smell wasn't as bad as other products I have used. My only caution with this mousse is to use some latex gloves to apply it - it WILL turn your cuticles a strange brown color, even if you scrub well afterwards and use a tan remover. So do yourself a favor and use an applicator or gloves to put this on.

I have used all sorts of self tanners from loreal tanning towels, sprays, lotions and professional spay-ons at the salon, and this is by far the biggest waste of money. At least the towels and sprays, even if they streak, will show you that something is happening! Even the Jergens subtle lotions do more for me than this product. I tried to leave it on longer, rub it in harder, use an excessive amount and even tried it dry - nada. To prove it I applied it yesterday WITHOUT using the latex gloves and the only thing it did was leave the underneaths of my fingernails dirty. There was ZERO discoloration on my hands! I had such high hopes for this product after reading the reviews and seeing profiled in O magazine last fall. What a disappointment. I will note in all fairness maybe the product doesn't mesh with my skin or perhaps because I have well water that is treated it won't stick- but nonetheless this product does nothing for me. Some advice for cleanup in the shower, i kept a magic eraser sponge in the shower to wipe away where perhaps the water didn't not hit and wash down the drain... or where foam got on my shower curtain i would rub the sponge gently and it would disapear...just a hint for those that do waste your cash. A bronzer it is not.

I've tried 5-6 different types of self-tanners before, and have never really been pleased. I find the color is unnatural, the look ends up streaky/blotchy, and it fades strangely, with splotches at my elbows, knees, etc. I have medium-toned skin but can be pale in winter.

I was skeptical when I tried this, because the process is different than other self tanners (you put it all over while wet after shower, wear their included gloves and leave on for 60 seconds. It looks really, really dark while it sits on your skin, then you wash it off). Anyway, after trying it once, I absolutely loved the color and effect. Subtle tan, like I spent an afternoon in the sun. I used it again the next day and loved the cumulative effect. Best of all, no streakiness, no lines (e.g. at the neck) where the product color stops, and just enough natural color to look healthy, like I spent a day at the beach, but not super tan or orange. Added plus - it smells awesome, like chocolate, and not that funny self tanner smell that sticks with you. I was also able to towel off, apply lotion and get dressed right away after using it with no clothes or towel rub off.

I read some of the negative reviews, and I think this is probably just not the right product for people who want to be dark, or who religiously use self tanner most days; it adds more of a natural glow but I wouldn't say you're "tan." I suppose it might get someone much darker if you used it many days in a row, but I haven't tried this because it's not my preference.

Net/net: Definitely worth a try if you're looking for natural looking color. I bought for me, and I just bought for my friend for her birthday (who is very pale). 5 stars!

I recently bought a pair of "Sunsets" after leaving my trusty "Peepers" in my car while it was getting fixed. Unlike traditional tanning goggles, Sunsets are only for the lay down beds and only if you lay on your back. I thought they sounded like a great idea because the elastic string on my peepers annoyed me and I didn't really want a tan line across the bridge of my nose. Although the sunsets did protect my eyes 100% from uv rays and looked kind of cool, I found they did nothing to prevent the dreaded "racoon eye" except for not having a band in between them. I don't have particularly long eyelashes, but I find even when my eyes are closed my eyelashes still blink a little and the Sunsets kept falling off and I would have to get up out of the bed and search for them. Also, if I were to put the towel over my face for any part of my tanning session it would cause them to fall off. I think they will be great for tanning outside in my backyard in the summer when it doesn't matter so much if they fall off, but the bottom line is they just don't cut it for any kind of long tanning session.

Great in concept, horrible in execution, try as I might I have not been able to get these to work and stay in place.

I bought these to use outside in the sun (not in a tanning booth). I thought that they would be a good compromise to help save my eyes from some of the UV rays as I was sunning. Thus far, I have been unable to get these to stay on my face for more than a few seconds. I don't know if there is any trick to them or not .... but for me, they do not work. I wanted them to work because I liked the concept. But they do not.

Not recommended.

You get a random color hard container and one pair of hard, plastic cups to put over your eyes. These are definitely not meant for a booth, and if you move in the bed, they will fall off. I use a booth, but ordered this product for the container. I tan at the gym and usually go in with my car keys and water, nothing else. I tan after working out and hate carrying around eye wear (not to mention the lines you get from using goggles), and the "winkies" seem like a huge rip off at a pair. I bought a pair of "winkies" and put them in the hard case to elongate their life since they do seem to work the best to avoid unsightly tan lines. The case is small, fits nicely on a keychain next to my gym tag. Wish they made rubber cups instead of the hard plastic so they suctioned onto your eye lids, then this product would be perfect.

This "accelerator" lotion is amazing stuff. I can't use very many moisturizers, as I break out very easily. For some reason, this product is not greasy and immediately soaks into your skin. It also gives your skin a five-minute `rush' of tingly that is just shy of being uncomfortable. It is just the right amount of sensation, like a very brisk after-shave. It does keep your tan longer as it prevents your skin from flaking. Best to use it before going in the sun. However, it is NOT a sunscreen, nor does it color your skin.

I don't tan as often as a lot of other tanning bed users and don't like to spend an arm and a leg on lotions. I don't care for very tingly ones or some fragrances. This stuff smells like an orange dreamsicle and it's pretty strong- if you don't like that scent, this one definitely isn't for you.

I don't burn with this lotion, which tends to happen easily on my sensitive skin. When using small amounts, I did not experience the "greasy" sort of feeling some other users have or with other lotions I've used. Any lotion will cause that if you put on a lot. I just prefer to do my tanning at the end of the day so I can shower shortly afterwards too.

I also find a lot of the other lotions too be a little to gimmicky and not exactly for an adult consumer and cost waaayyy too much. After having sampled several different types over the years (usually in sample packs), I think this one is by far the best bargain and works every bit as well as -40 bottles. I also have burned with several others that cost a lot more. I certainly intend to stick with this one.

Also as a side note, the seller for this, ShopWars was very good to me when I received a damaged bottle. I'm guessing it was beat up at the post office and while it was wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap and placed in a plastic envelope, it was everywhere by the time I received it- a total sloppy mess inside the envelope. I notified them immediately and was contacted the next business day and had a brand new bottle 48 hours later via UPS with no questions asked. I always think highly of a business that knows how to handle a problem and it counts just as much as how they do business when things go exactly as they are supposed to.
