This small solar charger is good for travlling. It’s a big plus for me having a quick mobile charge available at the end of my fingers when I’m out walking. With heavy phone use I have had to charge the phone from this battery in mid-afternoon. The power from this little charger will top up any mobile phone from dead flat in a few hours when you are out and about.
A good thing about this device is that it’s so durable it takes being dropped from the front pocket of a shirt onto a concrete pavement while picking up a fallen pen and yes, it's a surprisingly heavy battery for its size.
Because its solar panel is small the built-in battery won’t charge quickly using the solar alone. That’s not been a problem for me and I find it works best to initially charge it to 100% using a fixed power wall plug-in. Once charged it is there for the ongoing needs of any mobile device recharge.
